Jonathan Wilber, Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Jonathan Wilber, the Founder and CEO of Master Key Consulting is an experienced leader. His expertise includes federal government contracting, grants management, substance abuse and mental health services administration, higher education administration, human resource management, financial management and tribal gaming regulatory enforcement.

Jonathan has served since the year 2000 as the Founder, Chief Executive and majority owner of Master Key Consulting. Under his leadership the company has grown from its original staff of three to employ more than one hundred twenty individuals in eleven states and the District of Columbia. Wilber has guided Master Key Consulting to its position as one of the strongest American Indian owned businesses in America.

Jonathan has been recognized for his work by the U.S. Department of Justice and was selected as a Tribal Honoree at a gathering of the National Congress of American Indians for his “demonstrated leadership abilities and for serving as a positive role model for young Menominee.” He is a tireless advocate for American Indian issues through his work with Tribal Colleges, the American Indian College Fund, the National Congress of American Indians and the National American Indian Veterans Association. Mr. Wilber and Master Key work as advocates for business with the Montgomery County (Maryland) Chamber of Commerce and the National Small Business Association.

Jonathan formerly served as the Director of Human Resources for the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin, the Finance Manager at the College of Menominee Nation, the Chairman of the Menominee Tribal Gaming Commission, an IT instructor at the College of Menominee Nation and as an administrator at the Menominee Indian Tribe’s substance abuse treatment center.

Mr. Wilber is a member of the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin. He was raised on the Menominee Reservation attending school in the Menominee Indian School District in Keshena, Wisconsin and at St. Anthony’s Catholic School in Neopit, Wisconsin. He graduated from St. Lawrence Seminary (high school) in Mt. Calvary, Wisconsin attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and received a Bachelor’s of Science in Management from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee. Jonathan resides in Boyds, Maryland, with his wife Yvette and his daughter Haley.
