BIA
US Department of the Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs
Master Key Consulting is the prime contractor for the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) project providing IT Support Services to numerous BIA locations throughout the nation. The project is a result of a pilot program developed by the BIA to utilize a Federal contractor to respond to trouble tickets that could not be handled remotely by the existing BIA helpdesk.
During the pilot program Master Key Consulting responded to the need, building a network of local technical support experts in or near the designated BIA locations. These experts provide onsite IT services to those sites in remote locations that had previously proven to be both costly and logistically challenging to service by the BIA Helpdesk. Providing such comprehensive IT support is another example of the ability of Master Key to provide a Key solution to a pressing client problem.
Currently Master Key is supporting nearly 200 BIA locations nationwide providing services ranging from basic desktop support to server administration.
NIH
US Department of Health and Human Services, National Institutes of Health
Master Key Consulting projects supports 25 of the 27 NIH institutes and centers, specifically within the Office of Extramural Research (OER) through the Office of Administrative Operations (OAO,) the Division of Extramural Activity Support (DEAS) and Division of Quality Assurance (DQA). Projects include services such as Grant Technical Assistance, particularly within DEAS, which includes a broad range of tasks related to the grant application, grant review, grant award and grant closeout process. Master Key also provides a full service training program.
Master Key’s Training Program’s goal is to foster the development of individuals committed to their careers within the DEAS organization. The program offers opportunities for staff to develop and refine key competencies through direct, hands-on training and individualized development activities.
The program structure has four areas of focus that provide resources and support to all DEAS employees. The Program Administration manages the logistical and administrative needs of the training program. The External Networking element facilitates information and collaboration with other NIH training programs and resources. The Workforce Development program incorporates DEAS Academy and focuses on providing learning and development opportunities for ESAs, leads and specialists. And, finally, the Leadership and Organizational Development (LOD) program oversees the development and implementation of organizational development initiatives and learning activities for the management team.
